CBA Belt Drive Propeller Fan
CBA series of American CoolAir C-Type Belt Drive Wall Fans are available in sizes from 18” to 20”. Performance is from 2,536 to 5,792 CFM and static pressure through 0.75" WG. All fans carry AMCA seal for Certfied performance ratings program tested in accordance with AMCA Publications 211 and 311 and licensed by AMCA. All models are listed by Underwriters Laboratory, Inc. to U.S. and Canadian Safety standards under UL705 - E39944 standard.
CBA series of wall ventilation fans feature innovative CoolAir’s shaft-bearing-drive assembly, with integral fan pulley, captured bearings and stationary shaft. Prop fans come standard with die formed steel blades attached to a cast aluminum hub which also serves as a fixed pitch driven sheave and includes pressed-in permanently sealed and lubricated bearings with L10 life rating exceeding 300,000 hours of operation.
CBA series construction features include steel die formed blades, steel fan panel and cross-frame support, C-Drive unique hub-sheave-bearing-shaft assembly, variable pitch motor pulley, V-type belts, and totally enclosed air over TEAO energy efficient motors. Standard coating system is 3 mil of transformer green epoxy finish after five stage surface preparation.
CBA series fans are avialble with optional SU18-20 type gravity automatic wall shutter for exhaust applications. Blades are extruded aluminum of counter-balanced type with seals. Construction features interlocking aluminum blades, storm-proof design. For supply air applications a motorized version of SU18-20 is supplied with shutter motor kit (power open-spring return) and delay switch to activate fan motor after shutter has opened. Shutter BG type Bird Guard is a flat guard made of 1/2" X 1", 16 Ga, PVC coated wire mounted at the front of the shutter.
CBA series fans are avialble with optional SGM style Motor Side Safety Guards made of 1/2" X 1", 16 Ga, PVC coated wire. Guards completely enclose motor side of the fan and conform to OSHA requirements.
CBA series fans are avialble with optional SGF style Front Fan Safety Guards made of 1/2" X 1", 16 Ga, PVC coated wire. Guards completely enclose front side of the fan and conform to OSHA requirements.
CBA series fans are avialble with optional MH18-20 metal wall housing with turned in flanges at both ends allowing for through the wall installation from inside or outside the building. Metal housing is available assembled with the fan, or knocked down for assembly in the field. MH accessories include MHG metal housing flat guard, DHMH discharge hood, DHMHG discharge hood flatguard, IHMH intake hood, IHMHG - intake hood flat guard, MFMH mounting flanges, and AD access door.
MHG metal housing flat guard covers the free area of either the discharge or inlet of the metal housing.
DHMH metal housing discharge hood is designed to slip over the air leaving end of the metal housing. If supplied without metal housing mounting flanges are required.
DHMHG discharge hood flat guard covers the free area of the discharge hood.
IHMH metal housing intake hood is designed to slip over the air entering end of the metal housing. If supplied without metal housing mounting flanges are required.
IHMHG intake hood flat guard covers the free area of the intake hood.
MFMH metal housing mounting flanges are attached to the MH box, the intake hood, or discharge hood as needed.
