PTF POWER TUBE FAN: In controlled environments where a precise tempering of air is critical to production, American Coolair offers the Power Tube fan. Coolair Power Tube fans are specially designed units for compatibility with polyethylene tubes. For the necessary low velocity tempering of air, these fans and tubes are perfectly matched. All Power Tube fans employ air straightener vanes for efficient air distribution. The fan utilized exclusive CoolAirs stationary shaft design.
PT, PTF, JFHVA : Air Make-Up Jet Fan, or Power Tube Fan utilize a propeller fan in conjunction with a modulating face and by-pass control dampers to mix cold outside air with warm inside air, which results in inexpensive, tempered make-up air that can be distributed evenly throughout the work space, providing greater comfort and significant energy savings by inexpensively distributing make-up air strategically and comfortably throughout a building.
Power Tube Jet Fan construction features: Sturdily constructed of galvanized steel with cast aluminum fan blades; Outlet duct with straightening vanes to attach air tube; TEFC motors are standard; Adjustable motor base; Large access door hinged and latched on bottom (all models); Face and bypass dampers (FBC and FOC optional construction); Modulating damper motors (FBC and FOC optional construction); Transformers & Remote thermostats (FBC and FOC optional construction); NEMA control box enclosure (FBC and FOC optional construction); All face and by-pass damper linkage enclosed inside cabinet (FBC); Optional construction available. MakeUp Air Power Tube is available in sizes from 18 to 48. Rated from 1,600 to 50,650 CFM at up to 1.5 WG static pressure. AMCA licensed. Supplied with fire-retardant polytube with holes for even air distribution, hangers, steel suspended rope, mixing box and thermostat.
POWER TUBE: Manufactured from polyethylene tubing with UV inhibitor, the Power Tube is custom punched to suit your particular requirements. The Power Tube is clear so as not to obscure vision or light in your facility. Coolair Power Tube hangers are designed to be easily installed just slide the hanger into position on the tubing, and clip onto a suspended wire. The Tube Hanger also supports the tube when the fan is not in use, allowing for unrestricted view and normal air movement. The Coolair Power Tube is a methodically researched product designed to meet the ventilation needs of the industry with traditional American Coolair quality.
Power Tube controls include Fused Transformer, Belimo AF-24SR actuated Face & By-Pass Dampers, Johnson A350PS-1C Controller and Terminal Strip, which could be substituted with Sunne TF115 Thermostatic Control and terminal strip.
