UDP Direct Drive Propeller Fan
UDP series of American CoolAir Direct Drive Wall Fans are available in sizes from 7” to 18”. Performance is from 333 CFM to 3,281 CFM and static pressure from 0" WG to 1/4" WG. All fans carry AMCA seal for Certfied performance ratings program tested in accordance with AMCA Publications 211 and 311 and licensed by AMCA. All models are listed by Underwriters Laboratory, Inc. to U.S. and Canadian Safety standards under UL705 - E39944 standard.
UDP series fans offered by American CoolAir Corporation feature 3, 4, or 5 die formed aluminum blades. The available speed controller accessory allows the UDP’s motor speed to be varied to achieve performances from 50% to 100% of catalog ratings. A welded steel wire inlet guard is standard on all UDP models. Standard coating system is transformer green epoxy system after five stage surface preparation.
UDP series of direct drive wall exhaust fans as manufactured by American CoolAir are supplied as standard with die formed aluminum 3,4, or 5 blades attached to a steel hub directly connected to motor shaft. Single phase dual voltage 115/230 V ball bearings open drip proof motors (ODP) with automatic reset overload are standard.
UDP series fans are avialble with optional Type SU gravity-automatic wall shutter for exhaust applications. Shutter blades are of extruded aluminum counter-balanced type profile with seals. Construction features interlocking storm-proof design blades. Optional manual operator kit is supplied upon request. For air supply applications a motorized version of SU-E is available combined with a delay switch and metal sleeve, or metal housing. Shutter BG type Bird Guard is a flat guard made of 1/2" X 1", 16 Ga, PVC coated wire mounted at the front of the shutter.
UDP series fans are avialble with optional SGM style Motor Side Safety Guard made of 1/2" X 1", 16 Ga, PVC coated wire. Guards completely envelope motor side of the fan and are in compliance with OSHA requirements.
UDP series fans are avialble with optional SGF style Front Fan Safety Guards made of 1/2" X 1", 16 Ga, PVC coated wire. Guards completely cover the front side of the fan and are OSHA compliant.
UDP series fans are avialble with optional Type MS wall metal sleeve, ot Type MH/MHH metal wall housing with turned in flanges at both ends allowing for through the wall installation from inside or outside the building. Metal housing is available assembled with the fan, or knocked down for assembly in the field. Wall housing accessories include MHG metal housing flat guard, DHMH discharge hood, DHMHG discharge hood flat guard, IHMH intake hood, IHMHG - intake hood flat guard, MFMH mounting flanges, and AD access door.
MHG metal housing flat guard covers the free area of either the discharge or inlet of the metal housing.
DHMH metal housing discharge hood is designed to slip over the air-leaving end of the metal housing. If supplied without metal housing mounting flanges are required.
DHMHG discharge hood flat guard covers the free area of the discharge hood.
IHMH metal housing intake hood is designed to slip over the air-entering end of the metal housing. If supplied without metal housing mounting flanges are required.
IHMHG intake hood flat guard covers the free area of the intake hood.
MFMH metal housing mounting flanges are attached to the MH/MHH/MHX box, the intake hood, or discharge hood as needed.
