FRP UpBlast Power Roof Ventilators are designed for corrosive environments, contaminated air streams, moisture laden air, and for process ventilation for fume exhaust.

FAN HOUSING: Fan shall be axial flow impeller, roof mount, and belt drive configuration consisting of a wind band damper assembly for vertical discharge, a tubular fan section and a curb cap section. Fan housing interior surface shall be protected with a layer of synthetic surfacing veil. Fan housing, windband assembly and curb base shall be constructed of UV inhibited Hetron 99 P polyester resin with Class I flame spread of 25 or less. Fan belt tube shall be completely sealed, and shall isolate the bearings from ambient and/or contaminated airstreams. Fan housing and motor base shall be protected by a fiberglass motor cover. Curb cap shall be integrally molded to fan housing and fiberglass constructed. The hood is designed to minimize airflow restriction, structural members are solid fiberglass.
FAN IMPELLER: Axial Airfoil Impeller constructed of fiberglass, with helical shapped frp airfoil blades, a fiberglass hub assembly incorporating a split taper bushing, keyed directly to the shaft. Split Taper Lock Bushing protected by a removable fiberglass cap.
FAN MOTOR AND DRIVE: Cast Iron Fan Sheaves apropriately sized and aligned. Static conducting, oil and heat resistant V-belts. 316 SS Fan shaft with polypropylene shaft seal. Fan bearings are lubricated, self-aligning ball, or roller type with external grease fittings with a minimum L10 life of 50,000 hours.
FAN TESTING AND STANDARDS: Fans shall be rated and tested in accordance with ANSI/AMCA Standard 210. All motors and electrical components shall conform to NEMA standards.
